High-Resolution Sub-Micron CT System for Materials Research
Compact microCT system with sub-micron resolution
The diodno dsubµ has been designed for 3-dimensional materials research. Its sub-micron resolution makes it ideal for imaging microstructures e.g. fibre-reinforced composites and other organic materials. Other areas where the system excels include metal alloys (phase fractions and shape within the metal structure), metallic and organic foams (pore size and distribution), as well as natural materials such as wood, bone and stone.
Other manufacturers rely on high magnification to achieve their maximum resolution. Diondo achieve their high resolution by using their innovative camera which provides fully automated switching between three fields of view. At its highest resolution, the dsubµ scans your samples at a resolution of 0.3µm per voxel, while at the other end of the scale, it scans volumes up to 5mm with a resolution of 1.4µm per voxel.
